Rebellious Communications
The author of the unusual monument is Kirill Alexandrov, who tried to depict the consequences of the technocratic revolution. The monument to the era of communications is a two-meter “squiggle” stretching from a slightly open manhole to the sky. It seems like it's some kind of creature that looks more like a worm. Employees of the local bank consider this monument a symbol of their organization.
Sculptor Kirill Alexandrov was born in 1955 in Moscow. He prefers to create works from aluminum alloy, lead, concrete, steel and wood. He also participated in the reconstruction of the high reliefs of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. His exhibitions have been held in Moscow since 1979.
