The Geyser Fountain, [located on Manezhnaya Square] (http://kudago.com/msk/place/fontany-na-manezhnoj-ploshadi/), is decorated with the Four Seasons sculpture depicting frolicking horses. Every year, it is from this place that all the fountains of the city begin.

The fountain complex, located between the Alexander Garden and Manezhnaya Square, was installed in 1996 and includes sculptural compositions by Zurab Tsereteli. It is generally believed that these fountains and sculptures are symbols of Moscow in the 1990s, when it was imagined as a city combining Russian scope, European restraint, national characteristics and foreign gloss.

According to urban legend, horses can fulfill a wish: to do this, they must be petted. However, the sculptures are far from the side of the fountain, so it is unlikely that you will be able to stay dry at the same time.
