San Paolo fuori le Mura, also known as St. Paul's Basilica, is one of Rome's four major papal basilicas and one of the largest churches in the world. Located outside the ancient city walls, the church is dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle, who is believed to be buried there.

The original church was founded in the 4th century, but the current basilica was constructed in the 19th century following a devastating fire that destroyed much of the original building.
