Pedestrian zone on Krymskaya Embankment
The design solution is based on a wave, in the shape of which benches, railings and roofs of the pavilions are made. Colleagues from London helped Moscow architects to realize the idea of the wave: geoplastic techniques were once used in the London Olympic Park, which embodies the fluidity and softness of lines.
Pedestrian “waves” on the embankment rise to 0.3 meters, bicycle waves - up to 1.5 meters. A wooden promenade is laid across the park square.
Fountain Square occupies a central place in the plans for the improvement of the embankment, which is separated from the river by a linden alley. There were also benches with internal lighting made of wood and translucent artificial stone, wi-fi.
The pedestrian zone is a place for vernissages and meetings of musicians.
