The monument to the famous detective and his partner was erected here in honor of the 120th anniversary of the publication of Study in Crimson, a novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

In fact, actors Vasily Livanov and Vitaly Solomin are guessed in the costumes of the heroes, who brilliantly played in Igor Maslennikov's serial film, were recognized as the best couple of Holmes-Watson and earned love and respect even in the detective's historical homeland.
