Semyonovsky Park

In the 18th century, Semenovskoye Cemetery was the largest burial place for Muscovites. It also had its own church, built with the money of merchant Mushnikov and consecrated by Metropolitan Philaret. However, in 1935, the cemetery was literally dismantled - relatives were allowed to take and rebury the ashes of the dead, and those graves that remained intact were destroyed.

For the past 80 years, you can find a beautiful landscaped park on this place - with flower beds, benches, gazebos and playgrounds. People with disabilities can also walk in Semenovsky Park - the administration has made sure that the paths are convenient for wheelchairs.

The church, built two centuries ago, has now been restored and services are held in it.
