Tagansky Park

Tagansky Park appeared in 1934 at the Bukharin club. At that time, the city authorities were actively developing the park program, and Tagansky Park became one of 150 other green islands throughout Moscow. The park is adjacent to Pokrovsky Monastery.

Over the years of its existence, the park has seen rallies of the Soviet authorities, meetings with veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and modern mass holidays and discos. It was here that the future Olympic champion Irina Rodnina first appeared on the ice, and famous football players, the Starostin brothers, trained at the local open stadium. On the summer stage, Muscovites could see the very young Alla Pugacheva.

The park is still a favorite vacation spot for Muscovites, it hosts city-level holidays and many interesting events related to the Tagansky District. The park is divided into two parts — a children's and an adult. On the adult part, you can find grounds for thrill-seekers and a football field. There is a lot of sports in the park: Pilates, fitball, bodyflex, strength programs, aerobics — choose according to your taste. There are a large number of attractions for children. Acting classes are held at the Creativity Center, children are taught various creative directions and dances. There is also an early development group for toddlers. And on a hot day, it's so nice to relax by the fountain!

A distinctive feature of Tagansky Park is that everything it has is aimed at the active development of sports in all types and manifestations. Summer stage is designed for concert performances. In winter, an ice rink is flooded in the park and skate rental is opened, and an ice slide is built for sledding enthusiasts.
