Krasnogvardeiskiye Prudy Park

Krasnogvardeisky Ponds is a historical part of the Krasnaya Presnya Park. The reservoirs were created back in the 18th century, when the park area was part of the Studenets estate, which belonged to the princes Gagarin. In those years, the cascade of ponds and the canal system in the park area of the estate were so picturesque, which the princely possessions called "Russian Venice".

There are walking and cycling paths along the park. The Secret Garden walking route is a picturesque alley, the section from the Zvenigorod highway to the Upper Pond is a family-friendly park. There are treehouses for school children, sandboxes for toddlers, swings, ping-pong tables and a pavilion for playing in bad weather. Near the pond there are flower beds and tubs with plants, and on the water there are houses for wild ducks. The central part of the park between the Upper and Middle Ponds is decorated in the tradition of classic regular parks.
