The Museum of Modern Fortification "Bunker 703" is located in the space where for several decades the protected special archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was located.The archive was created at the time when weapons of mass destruction appeared, - it was necessary to protect documents of special state importance. They decided to store them in a buried structure, for which the bunker was built.

Until recently, secret experts worked here and the most important international secrets of our country were kept. Visitors were allowed here only in 2018, when the authorities recognized the object technically obsolete.

Behind the massive security doors lies an out vintage soviet era equipment. Visitors will get acquainted with the technologies and artifacts of the fortification facility, see working life support systems, look into a deep mine of the Stalin era.

Standard tourAfter a detailed tour of the bunker under the guidance of a guide, participants are given free time to walk around the bunker, take pictures or ask questions to the guide. The tour lasts 70-80 minutes and is designed for a group of no more than 12 people.

Excursion for tough techies An engineer guide will give you a full tour of the bunker and talk about engineering systems. Why are certain valves needed, where so many cables go, how to open a ten-ton door? The participants of the tour will learn the answers to these and other questions and will be able to start some of the mechanisms themselves. The tour is for a small group and lasts 10-15 minutes longer than the standard tour.

English TourThe English Tour tour is in English with Russian translation if needed. Participants will be able to check the level of radiation, dismantle a Kalashnikov assault rifle, try on a protective suit and a gas mask, and watch a video about the history of underground fortification. The walk lasts 70-80 minutes and is designed for a group of 10-12 people.

Sightseeing tourThis program is suitable for large groups of up to 24 participants. The tour follows the same route as the standard tour, but additional free time is not provided. A walk through the bunker lasts 50-60 minutes.
