Butovo Forest Park is famous for its rich nature: a third of the territory is occupied by birch groves, lindens, oaks, pines, forest pears and apple trees are also found. Some oaks growing in the forest park are more than two hundred years old. In summer, you can gather strawberries here, sit in a clearing overgrown with bells, lilies of the valley and lungwort. On spring evenings, nightingales can be heard singing in the forest park. In the forest, you can meet Sparrowhawk, which is very rare for forest parks located in the city. There are two lakes in the forest park, on the picturesque shores of which you can have a picnic, sunbathe and fish.

There are many visitors in the Butovo Forest Park at any time of the year. During the summer season, you can take a walk and breathe in the forest air, relax on the shady shore of the lake, and in winter, skiing enthusiasts come here.
