The Fund has international status. Its main task is to form an understanding among representatives of the Slavic peoples of their identity and unity in the bosom of a single cultural environment, and to introduce them to spiritual life. The story about the deeds of the Holy Brothers Methodius and Cyril and the reflection of attempts to neutralize the importance of the Slavic writing they created — the single information code of the Slavs — is also part of the tasks of the foundation.

Within the framework of the Foundation's work, international meetings are held, the purpose of which is to strengthen comprehensive cooperation between the Slavic peoples.

At the cultural and everyday level, a lot of painstaking work is being carried out to revive Slavic family and community customs of everyday life. This work is based on the gospel ideals of goodness, truth, love, mercy, sacrifice and compassion.

The Foundation also initiates and organizes annual celebrations of memorable dates and significant events in Slavic history and culture.
