The pedestrian Luzhkov Bridge was built across the Vodootvodny Canal and is one of the parts of the architectural ensemble [of the Tretyakov Gallery] (http://kudago.com/msk/place/tretyakovskaya-galereya-v-lavrushinskom-pereulke/), so its second and official name is Tretyakovsky.

The tradition of coming here after the wedding appeared after the installation of the [Reconciliation Bench] (https://kudago.com/msk/place/skamya-primireniya/). After sitting on it, the spouses tune in to a peaceful mood and safely resolve all their conflicts. After a while, the first Love Tree in the capital was “planted” on the Luzhkov Bridge. On the branch of the metal sculptural composition, lovers hang locks, the keys to which are immediately thrown into the river — as a sign of the strength and durability of their union.

More recently, a huge heart-shaped bridge and a bridge under it appeared in front of the entrance to the bridge. This location instantly became a popular place for photos, and not only for couples in love.
