The Church of Vladimir in Starye Sadekh has been standing on Moscow land since the sixteenth century. It was repeatedly recreated after the fire and the invasion of the Communists, who smashed it apart from top to bottom to use it as a warehouse. But later it was restored almost to its original state.

It has a Sunday school, a gymnasium for Orthodox Christians, a church choir school and a publishing house. There is also a charity department, a carpentry workshop and even a kindergarten.
