graffiti in Astrakhansky Lane
Artist Vova Gupalov (Nootk) painted the end of house No. 8 in Astrakhansky Lane. The author created the graffiti alone, spending about five days on it. He worked seven hours a day. This is an unusual working week. It took 200 cans of paint to create the graffiti.
MOST Street Art Festival started in August 2012. A special commission looked at and selected only the most beautiful and original sketches and provided artists with places for graffiti.
However, Gupalov himself found this particular house, which he liked very much. According to the artist, he imagined what kind of people could live there many years ago, and painted them on the walls, former residents. However, in a comical style.
Of the 20 selected candidate works, this one was the best. Now the masterpiece of street art is visible from afar and pleases motorists and lovers of modern art.
