Priklonskaya Gymnasium

In the Priklonskaya Gymnasium, as in other similar institutions, there were preparatory and ordinary classes, as well as a pedagogical class, and there was also a kindergarten and a boarding house here. The Board of Trustees was headed by the founder's husband, Alexander Priklonsky.

The construction of the house where the Priklonskaya Gymnasium is located was led by the famous Moscow architect V. Sherwood. The building was designed in compliance with the rules inherent in rational Art Nouveau architecture, with the addition of some neoclassical details. The interior of the dormitories and classrooms was very elegant, but it had the features of rigor characteristic of educational institutions.

During the Soviet Union, language courses and a seven-year school were located in the premises of the former gymnasium. After reconstruction, the building was renovated, and today there is a bank here.
