Pyatnitskaya and Bolshaya Ordynka are the old streets of Zamoskvorechye. Ordynka is the border between two districts of Moscow: Yakimanka and Zamoskvorechye. Pyatnitskaya Street is located between Serpukhovskaya Square, the Cast Iron Bridge and Kadashevskaya Embankment. This street is a symbol of Zamoskvorechye, the patriarchal district of the capital. There is a spirit of antiquity here and it seems that one of the characters in Alexander Ostrovsky's plays is about to leave some house. At the same time, Pyatnitskaya is an important transport highway in this historic district of Moscow.

In the XVII century, between Pyatnitskaya and Ordynka there was the Ordynskaya Hundred settlement, consisting of almost 300 yards. Six churches have been preserved on Ordynka. And in the 20th century, embassies of many countries settled here: Israel, Argentina, Cuba, Kenya, Laos, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan and others.

Picturesque courtyards, churches, apartment buildings, and the Yeremeyev estate have been preserved between these ancient streets, Pyatnitskaya and Ordynka. The silence of this place is broken only by the ringing of bells. Here you can take a walk, sit on a bench with a book or meet a friend for a sincere conversation.
