Among other houses in the area, this building stands out for the original street art that has recently appeared on one of its walls. Blue letters add up to the words of Mikhail Lermontov's poem “Can I Hear Your Voice...”, a strange inscription is inscribed on top of them, and in the lower right corner there is a large black blot.

The author of the street art sketch, Moscow designer Ilya Ruderman, specially chose not the most famous work of the writer. The idea of his work was to link poetry and shorthand (which, on closer inspection, turns out to be an illegible inscription), thereby emphasizing that both the first and second phenomena become remnants of the past.

The street art he created is a kind of puzzle. You can find out what is encrypted in the verbatim inscription by studying the hint drawn on the blot. We will not publish an answer here so as not to deprive Muscovites and guests of the capital of the pleasure of solving this mystery themselves.
