Delegates' Park

In the 19th century, this place was the estate of Count Osterman, during the Soviet period it housed the House of Soviets, and until the 1980s, the territory was occupied by state institutions. Then, for a long time, the estate was in disrepair. The situation changed due to the appeals of local residents — in 2018, the Delegatsky Park (formerly Detsky Park, or Shchemilovsky) was landscaped: now life here is in full swing both in winter and summer.

The territory of the park is quite compact, but well-thought-out. There are convenient paths for hiking, cycling and scooter rides, and modern benches are installed on the sides of the alleys. During the reconstruction, the lawn was replaced and new trees were planted.

Parents with children often come to Delegatsky Park. One of the reasons is the wide variety of play areas designed for different ages. There are also sports grounds: tennis, volleyball and football are played here in the warm season, and hockey in winter.
