**Documentary Film Center** became the first cinema in Russia with a similar genre repertoire. The CDK is located on the territory of one of the buildings [of the Museum of Moscow] (http://kudago.com/msk/place/muzej-moskvi/) in the architectural ensemble of the Proviant Warehouses.

The repertoire of the cinema center consists of documentary, educational and scientific works, as well as films and performances, video lectures, trainings, conferences and master classes are organized here. The CDK works with domestic and foreign film festivals and is one of the first to show high-profile world premieres on the big screen.

At the beginning of 2014, a lecture hall was opened at the CDK, where lectures on the history of non-fiction cinema of the 20th century are given by journalist M. Rathaus and film critic A. Mazurov said. Currently, documentaries are on the rise and reflect the state of society from various angles. The Documentary Film Research and Education Center brings together people interested in non-fiction cinema and the history of bygone centuries.

The lectures are accompanied by a screening of films by world documentary directors, followed by a discussion of what they see and hear with the audience. This course is a selection of works by interesting authors, according to the lecturer, classes do not imply a complete and in-depth study of the course. The idea includes communication and discussion of paintings, as well as the history of the described time. An important task of the lecture is to create a discussion and popularize films that have not been widely distributed and are not presented on Russian television.

The CDK hosts National Film Weeks: British Film Week was presented in November 2012, Finnish Film Week in February next year, and Israeli Film Week in November 2013.
