This bridge often becomes the venue for various public events and flash mobs. It connects Borovitskaya Square and Znamenka and Bolshaya Polyanka streets on the other side of the river. The bridge was built in 1938. This is an arched structure with a length of 487 meters, which is divided into automobile and pedestrian zones.

The construction of the bridge was developed back in 1858 by engineer Voskoboynikov. It is believed that at the time of the founding of Moscow, there was a ford in this place of the river, through which the road to Novgorod passed, and the first bridge appeared here at the beginning of the 16th century.

Interestingly, one of the scenes of the legendary film “The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed” was shot on the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge. The main characters meet here a soldier who admires the views of Moscow.
