The temple was built strictly according to Armenian canons. The basis of the project of the main ensemble of the temple is a classical Christian building in Armenia. Inside, the space is almost circular in shape, framed by seven apses. Outside, the temple and residence are decorated with Armenian ocher-orange tuff. The paving is made of granite, and the floor is also marble and granite. There are beautiful stone carvings in the exterior and interior decoration.

Right under the temple there is a museum that contains the relics of saints, paintings, historical manuscripts, rich church utensils and other valuables.
