This church appeared in 1909 and is home to the Catholic French community. The facade was made of granite, and the church itself was made of reinforced concrete.

Inside there is a marble bust of Jesus Christ. The Madonna and Child stood above the altar for a long time, and a little later the Archangel Michael appeared instead. There is a wind organ, it is made in the neo-Gothic style, made for the church in 1910 by the Germans.

In 1940, the temple was renovated. At that time, invited Latvian artists painted it again.

Now it is a functioning church, where masses are held in Russian and Polish.
