The fountain was built in 1950, and since then it has traditionally become a place where dates and meetings are scheduled.

The fountain is made in a classical manner and consists of a granite pool and beautiful bowls. It is open from 9:00am to 11:00pm, on weekends and holidays it is an hour longer.

In winter, when the fountains traditionally close, the Pushkinsky Fountain is decorated with beautiful illumination.
