Kisses bridge
The history of this almost iconic bridge dates back to 1738, when it was still wooden and consisted of only a few planks. Initially, this design was adapted for pedestrian traffic. Gradually, the artists slightly improved the appearance of the bridge, so another name appeared — Tsvetnoy.
In 1758, Potseluev Bridge was significantly improved and adapted for transport
travel. This layout has been preserved until the beginning of the XIX century. For eight years, an arched cast-iron structure made of rubble stone was erected. The layout was designed by architect V. Igeste.
According to the new plan, the length of the bridge was 41.5 meters, width - 23.6 meters. The bridge is decorated with obelisks with lanterns that illuminate the road at night.
There is a legend according to which once there was a store of the merchant Potseluev near this place, hence the name. Well, today it is believed that a strong marriage is established on this bridge, a union of loving hearts is formed.
