the place of the appearance of the Virgin

The miracle happened on December 16, 1890 in the house No. 1 on Voskova Street. The terminally ill boy turned to heaven with prayer, after which the Virgin appeared to him instructing him to go to the other side of the city to see his miraculous icon. It was then in a church on Obukhovskaya Oborony Avenue. He did so, and after praying at the miraculous icon, the paralyzed boy returned home on foot on his feet.

When he grew up, he became a monk in the parish of the Most Holy Theotokos, located in this house. Now it is not there, but the memory of the apparition of the Virgin to the child has survived to this day.

In addition to the sanctity of this place, it is just a quiet public garden, which is a pleasure to visit. Voskova, house 1 is a beautiful building in the neo-Russian style, well preserved to this day.
