Giant Baths (Ushakov Baths)

People call them “Ushakovskiye” by the name of the street, which was later renamed Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Street. Soap rooms, showers and steam rooms were located here. The building was built of old bricks, which led to rapid destruction. The appearance of the baths is now in a deplorable state.

Nevertheless, even in this state, you can see a brilliant project of architects Nikolsky and Halperin, who created many large-scale constructivist buildings in pre-war Leningrad.
