St Andrew's Anglican Cathedral
The church is built in a Victorian style with elements of English Gothic. Since 1884, when the last brick in the building was laid, the cathedral has become the center of life for adherents of religious Anglican culture. In order to see the only church of its kind, the Queen of England visited Moscow.
During the Soviet era, the building was not demolished or destroyed. The famous recording studio “Melodiya” has settled within its walls. Music by such great people as Shostakovich and Rostropovich was recorded here for the first time.
Now St. Andrew's Church is used for charity concerts, in which the most famous musicians from Russia and abroad take part. Organ music, unrivaled acoustics are what will be interesting for all guests.
