The fountain complex includes 15 bowls with water jets directed upwards. 225 jets symbolize the number of weeks of the Great Patriotic War.

[Victory Park] (http://kudago.com/msk/place/poklonnaya-gora-i-park-pobedy/) was opened in 1995, in honor of the 50th anniversary of Victory Day, and the fountains were launched a year earlier. The central park alley, called the “Years of War”, consists of five terraces, which are a symbol of the five war years. On these terraces there is a fountain of the same name, which looks especially impressive in the dark. At 22:00, all the fountains begin to illuminate, and the water jets acquire a bright scarlet color, symbolizing the blood shed for freedom.

On the territory of the park, adjacent to the Church of St. George the Victorious, there are three fountains called “Joy of Victory”. The bowls are equipped with nozzles that give the water jets the shape of glasses. These nozzles were moved here from the Four Seasons fountain located on [Manezhnaya Square] (http://kudago.com/msk/place/manezhnaya-ploshad/).
