HAUPTWERK-MSK concert hall at the Tretyakov city estate

The HAUPTWERK-MSK Concert Hall is located in an old mansion of the late 19th century, the history of which is closely connected with the history of Russian painting.

The estate attracts not only art lovers, but also music lovers who do not miss a single event dedicated to classical, sacred and folk music. In 2013, the first Hauptwerk concert organ in Moscow was installed in the Fireplace Hall of the mansion, which fills the surrounding space with the sounds of the best keyboard-wind instruments in Europe of the 16th—19th centuries .

Thanks to the new developments in the field of computer technology by Milan Digital Audio (Milan Digital Audio), organs from different countries and eras can be heard in the concert hall: great works by Bach on instruments of his contemporaries Silbermann and Schnitger, French Baroque [music] (http://kudago.com/msk/concerts/) from the time of Louis XIV, as well as works written for Italian small organs. Leading organists from Russia and abroad take part in the concerts.

In addition to music evenings and festivals, exciting classes are held in the space as part of the concert lecture hall. At the lectures, listeners get acquainted with the features of instruments from different eras and countries, genres of organ music and composers.
